Our History
Built from a life lived beyond the wire, The Adams Overland Company was founded in 2021 by Liam — while still serving in HM Armed Forces.
What began as a side mission grew into a full-time commitment once the uniform came off.
In the first year alone, TAOC stood shoulder to shoulder with legends: featured on Richard Hammond’s Workshop, partnered with ex-Special Forces operator Ollie Ollerton, and alongside Bowler Motors through the frozen battlegrounds of Iceland’s Hill Rally Series.
This isn’t just a company. It’s the next chapter of a life built on readiness, resilience, and relentless execution.
Mark
Mark Adams plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role at The Adams Overland Company, providing essential technical support and contributing to the company’s operations.
Mark’s technical skills and support are integral to the company’s success. His contributions ensure that The Adams Overland Company continues to deliver high-quality, custom overland vehicles tailored to the unique needs of their clients while always contemplating improvements we can incorporate into the next build.
Tom
Tom has travelled extensively around the world, including South America, New Zealand and Australia.
While in Australia, he travelled in overland vehicles, exploring the Outback and gaining first-hand experience of long-distance and remote travel.
He brings even more experience and a genuine passion for adventure to The Adams Overland Company.
Lauren
Lauren brings over 12 years of mechanical and engineering experience, working within high-end main dealerships and specialising in engine building.
She is now expanding that experience into Pinzgauer mechanics, developing specialist knowledge of the vehicles we work with at The Adams Overland Company.
Her strong technical background and hands-on experience make her a valuable part of the TAOC team.
Nic
Nic looks after the behind-the-scenes administration at The Adams Overland Company, helping keep the day-to-day running of the business on track.
Alongside her role at TAOC, she is also learning the practical side of vehicle restoration through her own Mk2 Golf GTI project.
She brings organisation, enthusiasm and a growing hands-on understanding of classic vehicles to the team.
